Charlotte, NC(January 21, 2010) – With the start of the 2010 ARCA Season just on the horizon and the famed Daytona Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 in their view, young Canadian Steve Arpin and Veteran Motorsports team, Venturini Motorsports, are confident and looking forward to starting the new season.
While the off season is a break for most drivers to relax and spend time with their families that was not true for Steve Arpin who has been working feverously to secure funding for the 2010 ARCA season as well as a partial Nationwide season.
“It’s been the busiest off season I have ever had, but it is has been well worth it,” stated Arpin. “Working with the marketing group at JRM has been a lot of fun and I have definitely learned a lot. We have developed a great relationship with them as well as some great potential marketing partners. I’m looking forward to what is to come throughout the 2010 season and into the 2011 season. Billy Venturini and I have also been working together a lot and trying to put everything together to make a run for the 2010 ARCA Series Championship with Venturini Motorsports.”
While Arpin and the teams search for funding for the entire season, Arpin is locked in to run the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards Daytona Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 February 6, 2010 to be presented LIVE on SPEED T.V. and will be running the No.55 Venturini Motorsports Toyota with crew chief Billy Venturini calling the shots.
“We had a great test back in December at Daytona and although Daytona can be a lot different when you have 42 cars out there with you, I think we have a good solid package put together,” said Arpin. The car had great balance both in a small draft and in single car runs and the speed was real good. My teammates at Venturini Motorsports were also strong. If we can all hook up, help each other and stay out of trouble, we should be in good position to battle for the win at the end. All I know at this point is that it will be one exciting race and I plan on being up front all day.”
With Arpin’s talent and determination and Venturini’s experience and knowledge the two will be a force that will not go unnoticed in the 2010 ARCA Season.
